Content management systems are probably one of the most common forms of software available today. You will find a hundred different variations which essentially work the same way and do the same thing. Our system is one of the few that stands out. Not because we say it does, but due to the way it evolved as the merger of a tried and tested system with a radical new architecture. Clean database layer with no custom mapping tables

Most of today's content management systems tie you completely to their system as the only means of editing the site. Even the most competent database administrators find themselves intimidated if faced with the prospect of editing a CMS generated site. This was one of the first aspects we targeted when we designed our system. All data is stored in clean normalized tables and one can easily work with data independently of our system.

Domain or database driven design options

Domain driven design is a modern software design approach which makes the data structure and business logic of the site the starting point and focus of the entire design process. Our CMS is one of the very few systems which support this approach and allows you to quickly design the core architecture of the site. Alternatively, if you prefer the traditional database approach, you can use it as well.

Datalist building tool

The Datalist is the main tool in our CMS. This is a list driven by one of the tables or entities in your design which specifies how the site administrator will perform CRUD (Creation, Retrieval, Update and Deletion). Our advanced GUI tool allows you to create these lists easily and even specify additional fields from other tables - including filtered hierarchies. You have total control on the actual form layout as well and both field, form and entity/table level validation rules.

Rich AJAX client interface

After defining the data model and lists in any way you prefer - even in a text editor if you are that way inclined - the site's administrator can start viewing and inputting data straight away. This is done via a cross-browser tested rich interface which uses AJAX technology, hence requiring no software installation (not even Flash, Java or ActiveX) from the end user. This makes the system extremely fast and the standard visual metaphors make the system completely intuitive.

Advanced filtering, sorting and grouping

A lot of CMS systems breakdown when dealing with very large numbers of items. Our system is specifically designed for that scenario. Items can be filtered, sorted, grouped and even searched via keywords with extreme ease and amazing speed.

Flexible image and file upload system

Careful thought was given to the way files are uploaded with special care to images. We are proud to say that our system supports all major image formats and then converts them into high quality PNGs with panning, zooming and cropping options. A file store can be defined and gallery style views are available to the site administrator.
